Account
deletion
This page explains how users of the Agerius mobile application can request deletion of their account and the personal data associated with that account.
Agerius is operated by Paul Gommard, sole trader (EI), operating under the trade name Agerius.
Request account deletion
You can ask us to delete your Agerius account and associated data by submitting this request form or by emailing us directly.
Email request
You can also send your request to paulpro.gommard@gmail.com with the subject line "Agerius account deletion request".
Please include the phone number, email address or username linked to your Agerius account so we can identify it.
What happens after your request
- We acknowledge and review your request.
- We may ask for additional information if needed to verify that you are the account holder.
- Once verified, we delete or anonymise your account and associated personal data within 30 days, unless a legal obligation or legitimate security need requires a longer retention period.
- Residual copies may remain in technical backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten or deleted.
Data deleted or anonymised
When your account deletion request is completed, the following categories of data are deleted or anonymised where technically possible and subject to the retention limits below:
- account identifiers and profile data, such as phone number, email address, username, date of birth, profile picture and profile information;
- published photos and content attached to your account;
- location information associated with your publications and map activity;
- social and gameplay data linked to your account, including territories, photo stealing, duels, friendships and interactions;
- private messages and support data linked only to your account, where deletion does not affect legal obligations or the rights of other users;
- device tokens, session data and app preferences linked to your account.
Data we may retain
Some data may be retained after account deletion only where necessary and for limited periods:
- security, fraud-prevention and technical logs: up to 12 months;
- support correspondence: up to 24 months after the last exchange;
- backup copies: up to 90 days before they are overwritten or deleted;
- legal records or dispute-related data: for the period required by applicable law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
- anonymous or aggregated data: may be kept because it no longer identifies you.
Data retained for these reasons is limited to what is necessary and is not used to recreate your deleted account.
